In the spring and the fall there is a turkey hunting season. Hunters are usually out early in the morning and later in the afternoon/evening. They will not be wearing blaze orange but you might want to.
In November until early December it’s deer hunting season bow, rifle and black powder. Hunters will be wearing blaze orange and you should also. Hunters can be out at any time during the day.
The “X” in the upper middle is approximately where other trails link to our trails, from the rail trail and the Lowd Preserve off of Oak Street. These other trails are not well marked.
